mission
I aspire to become the one choice for families /parents in and around Kampala, who are seeking for a child minder and Day care facilities.By providing child care and education facilities which are safe, welcoming and suitable for each child in our centre of learning. Education is a natural and enjoyable learning journey, where each child should be allowed to make free choice of activities,develop independent skills and supported in a happy and prepared environment. Early childhood education is the first step to a bright and fulfilling future.
term structure
Term system follows the Uganda school calendar. Holiday programmes can be arranged on request. Parents and Guardians are advised to bring their
own DISPOSABLE DIAPERS. Meals are charged on a MONTHLY FEE, based on a weekly menu. Our ingredients are fresh. I cater and prepare well balanced
nutrients.
For the weaning babies, their meals are sugar and salt free. Parents are advised to bring their own formula milk and feeding bottles or beakers. If you prefer
to bring your own packed meals for the day, I will place it in the fridge and warm it appropriately before it is served. It should be in airtight container and
clearly labelled with the child’s name.
structure
Faith International Nursery School and day care centre is designed for babies 3 months – 18 months old and Pre schoolers 18 months – 3years old.
- The play plan (attached), highlights and explains each area of learning.
- Activities are introduced, practiced and taught.
- The child, is free to choose their choice of activities in their development group and stages.
- Learning plans are put in place, recorded and with photographs to show the child’s progress and development.
- Self help skills include pouring exercises, dressing up activities, washing hands, using spoon and fork, use of the toilet and potty training.
- Construction involves, using materials like blocks, bricks, sand play and hand –eye coordination.
- Music and movement involves playing music instruments,Dance and Rhythm, singingand listening to Nursery rhymes.
